This person must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a people person, have the ability to negotiate and be a problem solver. The coordinator is responsible for tracking the department's budget negotiating usage and obtaining legal clearances for products and artwork appearing on screen researching products, periods, and other information ordering samples and other materials, and dispersing information for the production designer and art director. Working under the direction of the production designer and/or art director, the art department coordinator manages the department office. This position is for a BET Show that will be taking place in Richmond, Kentucky. However, we want to make sure that anyone applying for the job is comfortable with these types of locations. The film will be shot in urban locations. The tale explores the life of a young man aching to escape a life of crime for the good of his family. Set in modern-day North Philadelphia, OLDHEAD is an honest drama that combines community themes from BOYZ N THE HOOD with the aesthetic drug world of Hype Williams - BELLY to present a captivating story akin to stories from legendary filmmakers like John Singleton.
